LIFE has been so insanely crazy this past year... I wouldn't even know where to start!!

We have decided we are staying in this house and not moving again... yay..

Roger, at 42 had a massive heart attack just a few short weeks ago and our lives were changed forever.

Emily has graduated, got her license, a car and a full time job.

We took the kids to Disney this year, drove down and back. That was an insane drive!

and the list goes ON!!!

JJ is absolutely right! It does become too long in between blog posts when things get crazy here!

We are settled in, still tons of things to do but we will get there! We have most of the basement finished so the boys each have their own rooms now. They are LOVING it!!

Emily is going to be in the Disney parade... I cant even believe that!! The Star Dance Twirlers which she is in will be marching with Twirl Mania!! How exciting is that!!

Yesterday I spread some Christmas cheer and that really got me in the mood for Christmas! I am hoping today to spread some more ! The kids want to wrap some presents and prepare some things... so thats on the list today! FUN FUN!!

This morning I woke to a smoke filled house. I was afraid it was on fire... the stove was putting smoke back in the house.. I guess it was plugged or something. I was standing in the kitchen with a knit hat on, hoody with the hood up! Looked cute I am sure!! LOL

We have TONS AND TONS of new products arriving in the LCOM store today!!! Cannot wait!!

We have moved!! YAY!! We are so happy to have some more space and space outside!!!!!!!! We have a beautiful property and the kids and Roger and I have really been enjoying it! We spent most of the summer outside. We worked, worked and worked some more on the house but all the work has totally been worth it!

School has started, I am teaching grade 3, 10 and 12 this year... GULP!! very overwhelmed a lot of days but the kids are amazing and we get through!

We started cleaning up the yard, so much more to do!!

Well.. we got to spend some time with Emily tonight at her dance! All of us went as a family and we really enjoyed ourselves! They were getting their pictures taken... it was a wee bit unorganized but we entertained ourselves and had a lot of fun! The boys were playing basketball in the gym... and I was snapping pictures of the ladies!

Emily came running over to me... during the photo shoot... she had the wrong bra on... Mommy, please, please, please tell me that you have a bra that can be made strapless on?!?!?! She was ready to GO HOME... there was NO way she was going without a bra.... SOO... we go to the washroom.. I give her my bra... (little bigger) ... so I dont fit into hers... yep.. I had to go without... sigh... BUT she was happy!! LOL

I have to admit I somewhat secretly almost kind of love Mondays... it is just a fresh start to a brand new week. The weather has been a bit wonky here lately, we were biking last week and its snowing today! LOL

Emily got moved to the front row of her dance class tonight! Her instructor says she really is talented and has a lot of potential! I was sooo happy to see her so pleased and excited tonight... her face was lit up when we picked her up! I can't wait to share with you the dress that we bought her for the model part of the recital! She was skipping all the way to the truck!

My 40th birthday is coming up soon and I have decided that there will be ME time! It's time! Roger has even been helping me to get things organzied so that I do have more time for me! WOOT!!

Another allergy?!?!

Another allergy reared its ugly head in this household on Friday evening. Roger and I were in Saint John working when we got a phone call. Emily was a Youth Group at our Church when she ate a chocolate cookie that had peanut butter in it. We didn't know that Em was allergic to peanut butter for sure. She has ALWAYS ate peanut butter and jam sandwiches all of her life! A few weeks ago she had a sandwich and said her chest felt tight afterwards... could have been anything. Anyhoo... she had a cookie..took a bite and her throat started closing off and her tongue swelling. :( LUCKILY they were able to pour some liquid benedryl into her. Roger and I came home immediately. I knew there was a chance that it could rear its ugly head again. I gave her more benedryl through the night and kept her away for most of it.

She was sooooooo scared. I really didn't want this life for her. It is so frustrating when you pick up something to eat and are scared there might be something in it that you will have a reaction to. I go through that every day.

Today we will be making an appointment with our family doctor to get her an epi pen to carry with her at all times. She really sees the importance of the epi now.

Thank God she is ok!

Crumbling...

I have been a little off my game this past week..... we live a busy life like everyone else out there.... I just didn't want to say it out loud, on Monday I was at yet another appointment with Simon.... I had myself prepared for ADHD....but I wasn't prepared for Tourettes Syndrome, OCD, ADHD, Rage Episodes... sigh... I felt as though I was in a tunnel... the room was spinning a little bit... the doctors words were in the background of my mind talking to myself...... I was a little bit shell shocked. Of course my little man wasnt in the room while we were talking.... I talked to the doctor for a bit longer then went to collect my little man (who was laying in the fetal position in tears in the toybox waiting for me :( that was awful to see too ) I called Roger we talked for a few minutes about it got disconnected with the great cell service and I headed for home. Simon was chattering asking me if we knew what was wrong with him? Can they help me Mama? question after question... I was in tears .. everything is fine baby.

I was angry with myself after I got home because my mind is NOW racing with questions... yes questions that WHY didn't I ask those when I was there questions! :(

No time for much else off to another appointment... another stressful one where Simon has a major meltdown and we leave the office once again in tears. We had another appointment with our family doctor yesterday....sigh...

I just wanted to say thank you to the few of you that already know what I am going through and the support you have given me.

I know its not the end of the world... and I am thankful that he is healthly... its just a daily obstacle that we face. We have been facing since he was a baby. He actually have the vocal tics (sadly I thought he was just trying to annoy me...which makes me sad). I have been dealing with episodes for a long time I really didn't understand them but knowledge is power. I know I can help him better now. I changed his school routine because it was soooo stressful and that is improving. One for the home team.

Happy Birthday to my baby, Simon : ) Today he turned 7 years old... I cannot believe how quickly times flies by : (

This birthday was about Webkins, Bionicles and of course LEGO! When did lego get so expensive?!?!?!

We had Kentucky Fried Chicken for supper (Simon's choice) and ice cream cake. My parents came for supper, and my sister and her grandson. My stomach is hating me right now... KFC always upsets my stomach but I keep on eating it?!!

We found out today that Emily's boyfriend and his Mom and brother all had the H1N1 virus. Scary! He will be visiting us on Saturday but is supposed to be good now : )
The H1N1 has definitely been a mixed opinion for a lot of people.

OK... back to the birthday stuff!

I had one of the best weekends EVER!!!!!!! L-COM have our first ever crop! I was super excited and nervous at the same time! I spent the weekend with the most awesome girls! So much scrappy inspiration! The giggles, the food, the friends.... it was just down to earth FUN! Thank you to ALL of you! I can't wait for the next one!!!! On the way home I was already talking to my boys... R and J about what we could do for the next one : )

We stayed in SJ for the for the night at the Amsterdam Inn... they have the MOST comfortable beds ever! I think the bed itself snuggles you when you are in it! LOL... not that we got to sleep much.. but that is ALL good!

Now to get the site inventory updated... and I think a sale in order!

GIRL POWER -- its all in the dress

ok... today I wore a dress... .gasp .... Yes a dress!!! I have wore a dress before dont get me wrong but really I am a blue jeans a tshirt girl all the way..... so lets get back to the dress : ) WHILE wearing this dress..... I moved my ENTIRE living room around, changed the stand for the TV, changed the stand in the entryway, swept, windexed, furniture polish, wiped the leather furniture down.... well nothing is really in the same spot as it was.... even the desktop computer is moved... I think I will wear the dress tomorrow too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

OH... and yay me... two posts in ONE day!

Bear time...

We have had a bear in our yard for the past few days... he is HUGE and not afraid. I can yell at him and he doesn't even flinch!!! I called the Rangers and they are supposed to do something about it, I am waiting for their call. fingers crossed its soon. He likes to hang between our trucks in the driveway :(

Dont fall on the floor....but today I am wearing a DRESS...yuppers a dress... shocking I know!! I never do lol .... just felt like being girly. And not girly like doing housework, cooking, laundry or anything like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My house looks like a tornado just blew through and I just dont have the ambition today to clean it up!! blah... I would really just love to run and hide at my scrappy table and scrap... maybe I will!!

Monday!! Monday!!

Monday... come on!! yes, its Monday, the weekend is over and its back to the grind... BUT it really is a brand new FRESH week for us!!

Well last week I was in bed for a few days, with a sore leg : ( I was unable to sit up for more than 5 minutes and I couldn't stand the pain.

I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful group of ladies on the site and well R too! HAHAHA

Simon lost a tooth... well it was loose just a little bit but he is soooo impatient... he kept at it until finally at midnight he comes out and says that he got it! It really wasnt that loose! Sooo... we put it under his pillow and a glass of water out for the tooth fairy. In the morning the water was red.... did you know that if you put a glass of water out for the tooth fairy in the morning it will be the colour of the dress she was wearing????!?!?!? Yuppers, the fairy dust falls off! HOW cool is that!?!?!?!?! He is 2 dollars richer and one more tooth less and a happy camper.

We are doing school work... ... radius, parallel lines, blah! Simon is cutting feathers for his headband right now... we are studying history. He is doing an amazing job with his scissors!!!!! I am very proud! Austin is working at Math, he is NOT a fan of math at all! lol We are off to read some Science right now! yay!

OK.. seriously, can you please tell me I am a huge blog slacker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will blog, I will blog, I will blog!!!!!!!!!! I promise!

hmmm.... I have been keeping a little bit busy. Roger and I now have 17,000 kms on the bikes.... yes, yes we do!!!! Can you believe that? How crazy is that? I had set a goal of 20,000 for this season. We are getting closer all the time..... its getting nippy out in the evenings so our goal is a little harder to reach right now.

We decided this year that Rogers trucking business hasnt been as busy as previous years so we sold the trucking equipment. Huge weight off his shoulders, weekend repairs and maintenance are no more! He hasn't worked much this year (hence 17,000 kms) but he started a new job 3 weeks ago.... a weekly paycheck is SOO new to us!

Warm Weather!

Finally some warmer weather! It reached 32 degrees in Frederiction yesterday!

Roger and I have 5000 kms on so far this year, not bad : ) Emily attended the Spring Formal at FHS... she looked stunning! Austin is now TALLER than me! how can that be??? He has a good 2 inches on me now :) and he loves it. Simon is cursive writing everything now, can sound and spell words out and can read ANYthing!

I just received a box of scrappy goodness today... OMWord.... the goodies are FAB!! I can;t wait to dig into them and get creating.

Our cousins are here from Boston this weekend and we are celebrating my Mum's Aunt's 100th Birthday, wow!

It just dawned on me that this is for the third year in a row.... a different home we have been in! LOL We haven't decorated any eggs YET! There is an Easter egg hunt at the Church tomorrow and the kids will have fun there. My parents always go every year... they love taking the kids!

We were really hoping to get out for a ride today on the bikes but brrrr!!!!

We have been out for a couple very short rides, the roads are still way too cold for good grip on the tires, too much sand... and well I am getting old I dont like the cold either!

The city of Fredericton was busy cleaning up today from the enormous amount of snow. Finally tally was 48 cms I believe. We plowed most of the day today again. First thing this morning I took a spill on the ice... I was going down hard and put my elbows out to catch myself (to save my head).... well as soon as I hit the ice, I hit hard enough it threw me right over on my stomach. OUCH! I had an instant bruise on my elbow with the indentations of my turtleneck pattern lol ... hit my hip and jarred my shoulder. Here is hoping that is heals quickly!

This is the first time that I can remember where the city was shut down for the day... the malls, city transit, banks... all closed for the day. It was strange! The plows that were out were insane! So many busy at work! The cab companies were busy this morning as many people had to take cabs to work because they still couldn't get out of their driveways with their vehicles.

Tomorrow... roof shovelling... : )

47 cms of snow fell today in Freddy.... we left here at 2 am... we ended up driving my Dad to work (he sands) as the roads were not plowed and he would not have been able to make it. We picked him up at 3:30... we could not travel more than 20kms an hour. The visibility was ZERO.. it was crazy. We had the windows down to see if we were still on the road or not. CRAZY??

While we were plowing the subdivision (R keeps the heat cranked to keep the windshield clean) I was putting the window down to be able to breathe and to keep it clear.... he (in a very cranky way) says put up that *&(*& window... well that wasn't necessary.... so I put it up...but then I couldn't breathe again so I put it down slightly.. .he again says the same thing... so I put it up, told him he was a crank ass and didn't talk to him anymore : ) SOOOOO... later on he goes to put his window down but all his controls won't work... he says does your work.. I try and mine goes down nicely, he is trying and trying... his won't go down... I cracked a slight smile... and said you know what... Karma just bit you in the butt!!! HAHAHAH ... his window didn't work ALL day and mine did : ) (giggling) At around 1:30 this afternoon as I was shovelling to get a car out of a bank...I got a little light headed and realized that I needed food and was extremely tired! I flagged R ... told him he had to shovel and I took a rest from that for a little bit.

Tomorrow, we have to clean up a few more, shovel a roof and hmm... I think we should do our own deck! Our driveway is getting a little full too!

Okay, off to maybe soak in the tub!

Slept in this morning and it felt good... last night I started a layout and I seriously couldn't think of anything. R and I layed down to watch a movie in bed... I only remember the very beginning... I was out like a light almost immediately. I wasn't feeling great, felt sick to my stomach... I hate that feeling! R has had a headache for about 6 days straight now : (

Well 25 cms of snow in the forecast before tomorrow morning and then another 15-20 on top of that! Yikes! We will leave here around 2-3 am. My father plows as well and he will need to get out of his driveway.

Emily went snowboarding with her friends today at Crabbe, how cool is that! I love that she goes and does that. We puttered around the house, I had about 1/2 nap on the couch because I wasnt feeling good again, maybe there is something to Tina's naps ???!!??? lol R and I had a couple errands to do, the boys stayed home.... and R and I ended up stopping at my parents and having supper with them. It was quite nice!

Okay.. I am off to hopefully scrap a page!

Today R and I met Amy and her sister Kathryn for lunch at the HillTop, then a little shopping, it was SOO nice! Thanks Amy for all the giggles. You baby belly is just the cutest! I had so much fun. Can't wait to do it again : )

R's brother is doing better. They have decided they will keep him for a couple weeks to run some tests and try to find out what is going on and if there has been any damage to his heart.

MORE snow!! They are calling for more snow tomorrow night, Monday and Thursday. We are supposed to get quite the storm..... the driveways that we plow cannot handle much more! It's getting to be insane! I think all the plow guys are sick of it now too.

I am cold tonight, don't you hate it when your cold and just can't get warm!! ack... but Cin got me onto something very cool, she told me to get one last year...well I did this year! lol.... an electric blanket for my bed! I turn it on before bed to let it warm up, its nice to get into a warm bed!

Okay.. I am off to scrapbook some tonight. I am feeling the effects of not sleeping the night before and looks like we might be not sleeping much tomorrow night either.

Two days in a row...can i get a WOOT!!

Snow, snow and more snow! We plowed just the ends of people's driveways today so they could get in and will be leaving here in ooooohhh around 2 hours or so to go back and clean them out so they can get to work in the morning.

R and I rented a few movies today. The kids did zero schoolwork today! Hey, its a snowday! Austin has become Xbox junkie! LOL

They are calling for more snow! The snow banks are HIGH! You would think we would be looking forward to it seeing that we make money from it BUT we are looking forward to the open road on the bikes!

We had a great Valentine's Day (and Anniversary). We took in the bike show in Moncton....although I had my head in a bag on the way down! lol lovely flu season. We have been doing school as usual. There doesn't seem to be any spare time!

I am a sucker for new jammies!! Don't you love your wee one in new jammies!

We lost our first tooth!!! He was of course excited to say the least. He put his tooth under his pillow for the tooth fairy... and we put a glass of water out beside his bed to see what colour the tooth fairy's dress would be!! It was must have been blue because when we got up in the morning the water was blue!! how cool is that !?!

Hard to see but its there!!

One of the challenges on Paws On Scrapbooking by Tina McDonald is to blog everyday for 30 days straight... then it becomes a habit... do you think I can do it for more than two days in a row!! lol

Lazy Sunday..

Well today we never even got out of our PJ's!! We totally had a lazy day and enjoyed. I have been puttering around the house, getting some odds and ends done. I should probably start laundry, I neglected that today! Mum and Dad and my sister Wendy came for supper and brought KFC with them, greasy, greasy! No cooking though : )

After supper we browsed through some old photos that I had on the computer of when my parents were little. They all enjoyed it. Roger found this week that he has been talking to a guy on the computer on one of his bike sites that I grew up with! We didn't know all this time. Well I read an email from him and his memories of when we were little and Mom and Wendy were both crying. It was priceless!

We also found some old clips we took on the video camera of when the kids were little and have been enjoying them tonight.

Roger is playing Xbox, that pretty much consumes his life right now hahaha!

We had an awesome Christmas in our new home. The kids were tearing at the presents and pleased with everything they received!

We have been plowing snow this winter....yes we... can you believe that I have plowed snow!!!!!!!!! Roger had to work so he sent me : ) I LOVED it! Every single second of it I loved!

Seriously!!! Where does the time go!! I have been getting some emails asking when I am going to update!! YES, its about time!

The weather this summer was not very cooperative for motorbikes! I guess that was good in a way as we didn't really have the time for it! Roger has been working 6 days a week, LONG hours! The kids and I spent the summer getting settled in our new home! Its small but we love it! AND there is no smell! YAY!

We are homeschooling again this year, grade 1, grade 8 and grade 10 YIKES! It takes up most of the day now. Simon is cursive writing, reading and doing addition and subtraction..woot Simon!

This is usually what our house looks like! Full of kids, the kids are in their glory and loving it!

Austin got contacts this summer and he is doing amazing!! He will NOT wear his glasses anymore, he is a changed man! He is so confident and its nice to see his eyes! They are gorgeous!

Sidewalk chalk....oh how many buckets did we go through this summer!! The kids were here in groups and the roads and driveway were full of their summer art!

Emily took up sewing this summer and she is a natural! She made this summer dress for herself! Emily is sooo beautiful, this is one of my fav hairstyles that she does!

MOVED AGAIN

Well we have moved again! We couldn't stay in the last house any longer, the stench was unbearable!!!!!!! I am now in the midst of washing ALL of our clothing....load after load LOL

We are trying to get settled, downsized once again, its all good though!

BUT...that means I have to downsize my scrappy supplies! I have no room for atleast half of it!

Where does the time GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it has been so long since I posted!!! BAD BLOGGER!!!! I am sorry!!!

We are loving living up here in the new place! The kids love being able to go out and bike! We bought them all very much needed bikes! They are on the go all the time....and how cool is it that kids are at the door and coming over to play! The kids are really enjoying that for sure!

Roger and I have been out on our bikes some....its still cold to go to far!! We have put on about 1700 clicks so far, not bad!! We took a trip to Moncton on Thursday and that is the coldest ride I have been on!!!!!!!!!!! My toes were even cold!

I have been spending lots of time with http://www.pawsonscrapbooking.com/ I am so PLEASED that I was asked to be Admin for the site!! It is so cool to be able to work with Janique and Cindy!! woot! I really REALLY love all the gals that I have got to meet on Paws, its such a friendly place!

These are the gorgeous flowers that I received on my birthday from Janique and Cindy!!! Thank you so much girls!! It really made my day! I had vertigo and was really under the weather and this totally made my day!!! AND my birthday was the 15th of April and some of these are still in a vase on my table!! They were just so beautiful and I was really touched!! I got a very cool "Tink" bag from Cindy too which I am using Cin, you would love seeing me going with it!

Decorating Eggs for Easter :)

Hope you all had a fabulous Easter with your loved ones. We had Easter Dinner with my family. The kids were excited to get up Easter morning, and wanted to know how early they were "allowed" to get us up! No earlier than 8 please!! Simon was quite excited to gather the eggs, and then it was onto reading clues to find their prize. We were super surprised at how quickly Simon understood the riddle and was off to find the next clue! Emily's friend Morgan came to Easter Dinner with us, then back here for movies. My niece and her boyfriend Travis came back to play Rockband the kids got for Easter.....WELL this was PURE entertainment!!!! He was their lead singer...and let me tell you, he was really giving it!!!!!! Singing right off....can he sing??? Yes, does it sound like it...um let me just say it was hilarious! We laughed so hard!

I have been scrapbooking some this week and really enjoying it! Trying to use up some of my stash before the new stuff arrives!! Here are some pics.

I am on the Paws On Scrapbooking Permanent Design Team!!! WOOT!!!! I am so pleased to be staying on the team!! Thank you Paws!

March??? Snow, snow and more snow!!!!!!!!! We are really getting hit hard with the snow here. It is somewhat becoming a wee bit depressing!

We are all moved out of our house, 17 years worth of stuff that we moved, gave away, threw out, and sold!!!!!! WOW, what a lot of stuff...lol We are getting a little more settled in...still tons to do, we are getting things put away. I am bound and determined that things will be organized! We have about 1/3 of the space that we had before so it is definitely an adjustment but it is nice!

Today my baby girl went to Crabbe Mountain snowboarding!!!!!!!!!!! No adult supervision!!! This is a first! Yikes, but have to let her have a little freedom!

WOW!!! I cannot believe that February is already here... the time is flying by!!!!! Well I have been a wee bit busy the past couple of weeks. We are now in our new home, well just about anyways! We have been sleeping here for almost a week now! We moved last Sunday. It is definitely an adjustment. We have way less than half of the space that we used to. We have sold lots of things, gave lots of away, and thrown out lots of junk! I have to admit the purging feels really, really GOOD!!!! We have so much left to do but atleast this is a good start. Simon kept wanting to go home for the first three days, " I want to go home Mommy" :( it made me feel sad for him but turns out all he was missing was his "channels".... "can we get our channels now??" we heard this repeatedly. So after three days without phone, internet, or TV he was truly appreciating them when we did get them! Now its home! lol Emily and Austin are missing things as well but are now settling in and loving the new area that we are in, and their friends are close which is something they never had the pleasure of before! Monday Roger will start building his small garage here to put his stuff in and our bikes. Me, I continue to unpack, sort, organize and go thru everything that we own. I have my clothes just about finished!! WOOT!!! now my scrappy space that is a different story! I hope that I unpack the Design Team Kit for February soon as I have to get that started and finished before the 15th!!

I am tired of packing!!! Uggghhhh.... it truly seems the more that I pack the more stuff there is to pack. Now how can that be? I did find out that I possibly have too many shoes!!! But now really the same question...how can that be??

What else did we find??? We found out that you should not lean over your chair too far....or this happens....
We found out that you should NOT hold a small remote control car on your hair and make it run at the same time.....sigh.....he really keeps me on my toes!!!

Emily, Austin, and I have been packing, lots of packing. I have a huge pile of stuff to go! I am telling you this is the bestest Spring cleaning EVER!!! Getting rid of the excess feels good! and warm croissants fresh from the oven are sooooo yummy!

Found is my word of the day.... we found a new place to live......i found the NEW piggy tales book that I have been looking for about a month (Cindy it was NOT under my table leg hehe) I have found about 20 punches that I don't need....I have found that Roger has no patience for Christmas tree lights.....I have found that I have 30 wine glasses yet we drink zero wine??? ... I have found a buyer for Simon's bed..... I have found that a five year old will retain information you do not wish him to retain but will forget that he needs to wear a hat outside....let me tell you something..... Roger and I are laying on the couch....Simon comes out and gets all soft and cute....leans over and says...."Daddy??? Do you know why girls have boobs?? umm pretty much gasping for air, he asks Why Simon... (and I am in disbelief this is happening) --- Simon says SO you have something to LOOK at while you are talking to them" giggles and runs away. OKAY -- HE heard this on Family Guy apparently. AND RETAINED THE WHOLE DARN THING!!!!!!!!! SO the TV needs monitoring!!!!!!!!!FOUND is such a cool word of the day.

Drying my hair....

OKAY laid in bed this morning... wondering what is happening with the house, their financing went through, the inspectors came through yesterday and all was good with that...but we still WAIT for their reply. Roger is beyond frustrated!

Today I worked out, did my treadmill, did school work, 7 loads of laundry, roast in the oven....decide OKAY time for a shower and to bath the little man....lucky me I run the bath for the little one, put him in and then I jump in the shower (we have a whirlpool tub and a full shower unit in our bathroom--- will i miss this YES) --- so I shower..get out and this is where the fun begins.. I start to dry my hair....hair dryer is going...Simon starts talking to me...hair dryer off...yes Simon..."can I have more water?" Yes Simon you can. Start hair dryer...he is talking again...hair dryer off...yes Simon..."Mommy do I have to wash myself with soap?" Yes Simon you do. Hair dryer back on.... he is talking again... "All over Mommy?" ...Yes Simon and I can't talk to you while I am drying my hair..."ok, Mommy"...start the hair dryer....screaming this time..."MOMMY MOMMY...aaaaaahhhh I have soap in my eye" come closer so i can put some water in your eye to wash it out..."hehe, I dont really have soap in my eye" deep sigh... I wash his face. Hair dryer back on...Emily"Mommy can I borrow your shave cream" yes Emily you can...hair dryer back on....back off...Emily, "Mommy, where is it?" Its on the tub. Hair dryer back on...back off, --- Austin, "Mommy I am going to get the mail"ok Austin. Hair dryer back on ...back off...DEEP SIGH...WHAT SIMON... " I want some hot water." Okay Simon you can have some hot water. (Dear Lord I am sure the water was cold.) Hair dryer back on... Austin come back in..Pupa is here...OKAY now I am standing with STILL WET hair in a towel and my father is now in my room TOO....talk to my father, he weighs himself, we talk......I need to dry my hair still...phone rings...its Janique from Paws...little man is still in tub.... father leaves...I FINISH drying my hair and call Janique back....tell J and she is laughing cuz she knows exactly what I am talking about! TOO FUNNY! And i sold my Hope Chest tonight !

Well I seem to be consistent with the time I am blogging....late at night!! Well today is the day we should find out for sure if the house is sold or NOT! I am tired of it being in limbo....so triple arm pump for us finding out today!

Today I decided it was time to clean the Hope Chest out.... I have a new rule...if we don't use it, its gone! No more stuff laying around. Do you see the little container on top of the chest? Well I downsized from the hope chest to that!!!!!! YES, I really did. I am very proud. I have decided that I am going to sell the Hope Chest so if anyone is interested make me an offer!!!!

Emily and Simon are on the mend, Simon actually ate one and half fish sticks today!! That is huge, he has hardly ate a thing for 3 days. Now we just have to get Austin feeling better too!

Well today could be the day ... do they get their financing or do they not?? They have until Tuesday at the latest....they asked for the extension. It being up in the air is even harder! Do we look for a place to rent...do we not??

The kids all have a cold...little Simon has been the worst so far :( poor little man. If he is not feeling better in the morning I am calling the doctor.

My basement looks like a bomb went off in it!!! Truly it does! Last night, and today and tonight I scrapped. It felt really good! I completed all the stuff for the DT (I will post it after the DT reveal on the 15th) I really had fun with it! and got some other layouts done as well. Roger and I went out for supper today too. We went to the Hilltop Pub. He had an 18oz ribeye and I had grilled chicken with cheese on it. It was very yummy!! and very nice to not cook! I didn't feel like any of that today.

Tomorrow is looking like a snowstorm, which means Roger will work all day then probably all night too :( It was nice having him around on the weekend.

Okay...I will keep you posted on the house sale! and tomorrow I hope to post up some mags that I have that I want to sell...and maybe some other items as well.

OKAY --- so we will know by Tuesday for sure if our house is sold. They are working on financing right now. Apparently they ran into a little glitch. Today we started rooting through some things....and you look at things a little differently knowing that .....hmmm... do I pack this to move or get rid of it?? Especially when we will be downsizing!

I have a ton of things that I am going to sell....I have sold some things already. I have a few gals asking ..."what are you selling?" Well Lady K suggested I post the things on my blog...so I think I will post a few things!

Seriously, where does the time go??? Christmas was a blast, the kiddos had us up nice and early at the crack of oooo around 5 am! LOL They were super excited to open presents and see what Santa left or "Christmas" as Simon calls him.

Roger worked most of the holidays plowing snow, WOWZERS, we sure got a ton of snow in a short amount of time. The last four nights he has been doing snow removal in the city. He asked me if I wanted to go with him, well YA!!! I was super excited, we were like teenagers again hehe .... I used to go trucking with him all the time, so we had fun! I am running on little less sleep than I am used to but hey its been fun!

The kids are fighting a cold/flu and Simon is laying on my lap right now here on the couch. He has had a fever all day :( poor little man!! Our house is up for sale, and we got an offer on it, and thought it was sold but now it seems to be up in the air....uggghhh!! So we wait!

Middle of the Night....

Okay it seems that I am truly doing most everything in the middle of the night now!!! December 24 --- how fast did that come??? Well its still early as its only 2:14 am. Roger and I just got back from WalMart, they opened at midnight so off we went! We sent the kids to my parents this evening and I made him help me wrap the presents! Well we realized that someone was a little bit shorted so we thought we better even up the score!

I am still working on my father's Christmas present. It definitely is looking better but still no where near finished. We went to my friend Brenda's today for a Christmas gathering. Thank you for asking us to be a part of your family Brenda! Santa was there and was giving out gifts to the kids. Simon was just in total awe that he showed up there! For the past three days the kids have been opening a present. We thought that it would be neat to change up and maybe make a new tradition. Well this one is working well for us! They are loving it and they get to open one present and enjoy and appreciate it all in itself!

Roger's parents visited this afternoon and brought their presents in and the kids opened what they got from them so they could watch and be part of it. It was nice to see them as we don't get to visit with them very often.

Night Hawk

I am a total night hawk!!! It is 1:21am Tuesday morning! I know I should be in bed, I just love this time of the day though! The mornings are not so much fun :( I hope to have a more productive day today than I did yesterday LOL --- Dentist for me :( here's hoping all goes well! Roger is not working today. He plowed all night last night and again all evening tonight. He just got home not too long ago, so we hope to get a few things finished up! I have been working on my sister Karen's present for Christmas, I hope to get that all finished today!!

Here are a couple of layouts that I did using the Elsie Noel paper line!! and the snow one has lots of Heidi Swapp stuff and Making Memories. Only one week left till the big guy comes down the chimney...my kids are so super excited!!

Well SNOW again!!!! Hard to believe how much snow is down compared to just about being able to mow the lawn last year at Christmas. I do love a white Christmas though!!! In fact, I remember last year in December we were out on our motorbikes!!! Roger is fast asleep, he plowed all night!! The weekend flew by per usual!!! Roger and I did get to make it down to Saint John and drop off some goodies to some of our friends and I got to shop at Old Navy ...ALL GOOD!!

The kids have been bugging me to take them shopping but I just can't drive that car in the snow with summer tires!!!!!!! I have had to take it out a couple times when the roads were clear but I am not chancing it! Roger bought a Jimmy a few weeks ago. I test drove it to the store and back, but it never seems to be home! LOL --- we call it the "sweet pile"!!!

Last night I stayed up and finished all my Christmas Cards, some will receive homemade and others some beautiful ones that I couldn't pass up, all glittery and stuff. 90 plus cards later I am saying I am finished!!!! Fell into bed last night at 2 am....Roger was still working, talked to him on the phone for a little bit, said goodnight, feel asleep. Woke up to something loud, not sure what, the power was out. I got up to go check the kids, and find that the front door at the top of stairs is WIDE open, scared me!! I check them they are all fine and sleeping, call Roger, tell him, he says his cell is going dead!!!!! OF COURSE it is!!!!!!! ugghhh...I had to use the phone in the kitchen as the power was off. I checked around the house couldn't find anyone, went back to bed, power comes on.... I am still laying awake.... light at the bottom of the stairs comes on....it comes on with movement like when someone walks by it --- ugghhh terrible feeling!!! I get up look around, nothing....back to bed....power goes out, comes back on.... still awake... 5 am now...light at the bottom of the stairs comes back on.... goes out....still laying awake... notice that there is now a light that has just come on upstairs....get up go check, all the kid are still asleep, the light in the living room is one that you touch to turn on...I touch it, it goes out. I grab my cell head back downstairs, text Roger, COME HOME!!!!!!!!!! layed in bed with cell phone in case the power goes out again.... and waiting for Roger to come home at 6:30. It was a very strange night!!!

Well now its pretty much Thursday!! LOL --- We had supper tonight from Swiss Chalet. The kids love it and so do I....easy clean up!!! Simon has been trying to get me to wrap Christmas presents all week. They are getting so super excited about Christmas!

Roger plowed all night last night and brought me home breakfast this morning from the bagel shop...I KNOW!! I couldn't believe it either LOL It was nice to sit and have breakfast with him. I really appreciated that he thought of me. I have to get my butt in gear and get some more Christmas presents made that I have started. I have my Christmas cards almost finished and hopefully will have them ALL in the mail by Friday!

It actually just turned into Friday 5 mintues ago LOL

We got snow this week!!! and lots of it!! The kids had fun and Simon wanted to go out in it right away because he didn't think it was going to last! I finished up the Design Team stuff for Paws this morning! Well I only have a couple little things left but this is big for me....usually working it under pressure! I also got a box of goodies from Paws in the mail today that totally made my week!!! and goodies from my friend Cindy....thanks Cindy!!

Today the kids and I went to the mall and Simon had his picture taken with Santa... 1st year Emily and Austin have not had theirs taken :( We shopped a little bit, then Roger met us on his way home from work. Simon used his birthday money and bought a game for the playstation so he was skipping all the way home. Roger had to go back to work so Em and I went with him and stayed at the mall, the boys stayed home by themselves for the first time EEK!! Em and I enjoyed some "alone" time!! I miss that!! Thanks Em for spending time with just me tonight. And Gramma if you are reading....Emily wishes that you were closer as tonight she found a coat that she loves but its expensive...and when we were at Fabricville she found the material that it could be made out of ....and said I wish GRAMMA lived closer!! aww so sweet!! She wants to learn to make things for herself!! and is totally into! GO EMILY!! I want her to run with this one!

I think Austin and I might have our "alone" time tomorrow. I am really looking forward to spending some time with my hubby this weekend too!!

DECEMBER!!! can you believe it??? I love Christmas! The kids are getting so excited. I wrapped a few presents to peek their interest, and they are begging for more to be wrapped!Saturday we went shopping with our friend Andy, seemed strange to be shopping with the guys, usually guys don't want to but they were game! We picked up a few things, I finally got my copy of the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine, check this out!!

COOL??? We went out for supper at Ringos, it was really nice! On Sunday we visited an elderly couple that we have not seen in a very long time. We brought home Swiss Chalet chicken for the kids, we ate supper and decorated the Christmas tree. So glad that our tree is 9 1/2 feet tall because it is full of ornaments!!

I wanted to share a picture with you....this is a picture of an angel that used to be my Grandmothers....she is very old and well she is broken now.
I think I will keep the picture as a beautiful reminder.

It is snowing outside and it is so beautiful and clean!!!!!

Truly, where does the weekend go???? It goes so quickly!!! This weekend we accomplished quite a few things!!! YEAH US!!! Well Mum's craft sale is over and was a huge success, and she was very pleased with the results, and was exhausted on Saturday night!!! Here are few pics of just a few and I mean a FEW of the goodies that they had there.

Mum also has sold 150 homemade apple pies this fall. Her pies are soooo YUMMY and completely the best pies EVER!!!

Roger and I spent the day shopping on Saturday and went out for lunch. We thought we had better get a start on the Christmas stuff. We finished most of the stuff up for the kids. It feels good to have that out of the way. The malls were insane!!!! Some places we would not even go into because the lines were too long. I of course can't tell you where we went as my little "eyes" read my blog!! haha....but it was nice to have some time with Roger.

Austin bugged me non stop about putting up Christmas decorations.... please, please Mom...can we?? He wanted so badly to put up the decorations and the tree. So on Sunday I decided that we would pull out some decorations and put some up. Well with this brings a mess of course....and I thought why do this more than once???? why make more work for yourself??? SOOO we put up the decorations and the trees. I have one in the entry and its all decorated but the one in the living room only has lights. We will put the decorations on later this week....that is no big deal and not that big of a mess. I really enjoy spending the time doing this with the children as we always share memories and remember who gave us the ornaments :) they love it too. The kids and I put the tree up ourselves....while bahumbug was in the garage doing some body work to his truck. We asked him to put the lights on the tree when he came in....GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE....he is SOOOO bahumbug!!!! He had promised to put the lights up outside this weekend but we had to make a choice between the tree lights or the outside lights because he wouldn't do both! lol ---- well i put a Santa hat on the grump and I have to share this picture with you....a true fashion statement....I looked down to find his feet looking like this!!! I have a picture of his face but I would not dare share it ....he is NOT looking happy!! lolololol

TOO FUNNY!!!!! This is what goes on his feet when he goes out for a smoke in the cold !! HAHAH He is going to love this! lol

This is what Simon did the whole time we were putting up decorations......he sees the stuff out....all the totes and says to me, "what is all this crap for?" oh man...he needs a better vocabulary!

Today Simon learned a few new words....this is what a lot of my days consists of!!! These blend charts....which he knows but will goof off badly while doing them!

He really does love the blend charts. You just never know what he is going to say next. We were studying about Noah and the ark, and he knows the story well. Okay, ummm....when asked who built the ark, Simon replies.... "Evan Almighty"....oh GREAT!!! I thought Roger was going to wet his pants laughing at this which only adds fuel to the fire!!

Well more school to finish, Emily is working on Health right now, Austin just finished a spelling test and got 95%. Simon is not quite finished and its almost time for supper so I better get the show on the road!

Another day of getting up early! I am so proud of myself. I struggle with getting up early but I think I am slowly becoming a morning person ....rolling eyes...right! lol I am looking forward to the weekend...and spending some much needed time with my husband.

I did a couple things for Mum today, visited with her and my sister Wendy and my Dad, had a few laughs. Chantel dropped in to my mothers, she is married to my cousin, and I have not seen her for a very long time. She is such a sweety!

Simon is giving me a hard time with school work. I think I have to have a little more "scheduled". This I am working on! Emily and Austin worked hard on keeping their rooms clean and getting their schoolwork finished up. New rule at my house is no school work and a dirty bedroom = no Youth Group. They love it and its a win win situation :) They are a great help around the house....and have lots of chores that I have them do. I think its good for them! Great responsibility. Too funny though....today Austin says to me "Mom we have to pick up and put away as we go.....so ummm don't you think you should do that with your scrap desk?" OMG -- YES I totally should. I worked on cleaning it up some tonight. Daddy and Simon have been hanging out tonight. They really don't get the "man" time alone much. Emily and Austin are off to Youth Group tonight for a sleepover, Yankee Swap, breakfast in the morning...and I am sure loads of fun. I kept telling them if they got homesick to call Mama and she would come get them....they roll their eyes and laugh out loud....Mom, we are not going to get homesick!!! LOL

Well I got up early this morning and started on finishing up some things for that craft sale! LOL

I made some Christmas bulbs for the tree that I will post. They were super easy and fun to do. Simon decorated some as well. He was a HUGE help!! I painted a few things, and I have one mat left to paint! Thank Goodness!!! Mom came down and I gave her a couple boxes that I did today and she said OH I have some more up there..... I said "no more!" LOL She needs to get her house ready now! She completely decorates every room for Christmas and will want it all finished before Saturday as the girls that come to the sale will be looking through!

A big shout out to my friend, Cindy. Thank you girl for listening this morning and chatting, you helped me immensely. I hope you know that!! Hugs!!

On the agenda for the rest of the day, well I have laundry on the go, I need to finish up school with Simon, and my scrap desk is A MESS!!!!!!!!!! I hope to accomplish that, we shall see!

Tonight we will all watch Survivor as well.... the kids love it as we watch as a family. Well, Simon trys to be quiet and watch, he has a hard time to make it through. Okay off to start supper and get Simon going on school! Late I know. I guess we had a bit of a "teacher" day today.

Wednesday....a good day

Wednesday....or as some call it hump day...getting over that hump in the middle of the week. Yesterday was somewhat of a productive day, I painted things for my mother, scrapbooked a page, and started a Christmas present for my father, plus all the other "normal" stuff like school, laundry and such.

This morning I woke up with a sinus pressure headache...not a great way to start the day. I got Roger off to work (YES off to work -- he has been underfoot for about a month lol) Last night when we went to bed I added another blanket to our bed...the weather is getting so much colder. WELL....that bed was calling my name this morning......and I didn't disappoint it!! I crawled back in for another hour of napping. It felt good too!!! After the much enjoyed nap we were off and running for the day. We had errands to do and Simon didn't buck me on getting dressed (he LIVES in his PJS). First stop was mailing the RAKS for my friends at Paws.... the girl at the post office said I looked like Santa LOL --- We had to pick up a couple gifts for a Yankee Swap at youth group on Friday night. Check that off my list of to dos! We thought we would stop in and check out Value Village...okay after 10 minutes in there I couldn't breathe...I was being a trouper though..looking around with the kids. Then Emily says "Mom I can't breathe" I looked at her to see that her neck is all broke out, her eyes are red and running, she looks bad! So we left....it took about 20 minutes in the outside air to bring her and I around. I think we will pass shopping there. She did find a great skirt though! lol

I got the best surprise today too.... the kids Gramma called from Alberta and we chatted for an hour!!!!!! Lots of catching up to do! She is the sweetest, kindest person. I always feel close to her and love chatting with her. We miss her!

We rented a couple movies for the kids to watch and I am hoping to get some things accomplished tonight.

Monday....A brand new week

Monday.... a fresh start to a brand new week. I have to admit that I kind of like Mondays. I do feel like it is a the beginning of something fresh . I enjoy the time on the weekend with the kids, just hanging out and having fun, no commitments, no routines.

This weekend we all went rock climbing. My baby girl turned 14 years old this month. I can hardly believe that I have a 14 year old!! Where has the time gone?? Everyone had so much fun climbing. The instructors that we had were awesome. We were very proud of Simon who is afraid of heights, he was clean to the top, NO FEAR!!! Roger really had fun as well, just a big kid you know! Austin was determined that he could climb anywhere that his dad could and well he took a little tumble down and landed on his tailbone. He is still a little sore. OH -- and I have to show you a picture of the sneakers that I was wearing!!!!! TOO FUNNY --- we are standing at the counter and Emily says "MOM look at your sneakers!!" she is laughing.... I look down to see that I have two different sneakers on! OH man, well I tried both pairs on at home before we left to see which were more comfortable. I was hurrying and trying to get everyone else ready and then well just out the door not even thinking! It was kind of funny but I guess part of being a mother it didn't put me out, and it was a great laugh!!

OKAY!!! i know they are not even close!!! LOL

Rock climbing was an awesome time and something really fun to do with the family. We will definitely be going back again. The pictures are dark, the lighting in there was horrible! Oh well. Still got some shots :)

Hope to get to some scrapbooking tonight. I have been working on things for my mother's craft sale this weekend and it is cutting into the scrapping time!
